Our upcoming city guide for December features the Hakata ward in Fukuoka, Japan. Chef James was just there with Ken Nagao (of Sharaku fame), and they had a great time eating and drinking on the island of Kyushu. So much so, that we’ve decided to host a special barigatō event at Mabel Gray on Sunday, February 1st. This will be a four course, Japanese-inspired tasting menu showcasing a bowl of Hakata ramen.
